Spring Events 2019

April 5-7: Challenge Course Weekend: Come and Take It!
  • Fri. 7p to Sun. 4p
  • Ever wanted to try the Disciple Oaks challenge course, but didn't have a group to attend with? You can attend individually this weekend as part of an open enrollment group. The course fee covers use of the course facility, dorm-style lodging and meals.

April 26-28: Facilitator Training Weekend (Challenge Course)
  • Fri. 6p to Sun. 8p
  • Attending the Apr. 5-7 Challenge Course Weekend (see above) is a prerequisite for this training. During this weekend, you’ll build on your experience in the first weekend and learn the challenge course equipment, safety procedures and technical aspects. You’ll also learn history, tips, techniques and approaches to the art of facilitation. The facilitator team is responsible for:

                 -  Single-Element Events for Summer Campers
                 -  Continued Training and Maintenance

Summer Camps 2019

May 24-26: Family Camp
     Fee: TBD

June 9-15: CYF Conference (completed grades 9-12)
Directors: Brett Coe & Evan Tiffany
  • CYF Camp is the ultimate camp experience forcampers. This camp reconnects youth with God and new and old friends during this one of a kind week that will never be forgotten while focusing on creating faithful leaders of the church. ​ ​
     Fee: $405
June 16-22: Eighter's Camp (completed grade 8)

Directors: Augusta Cloyd & Steve Cloyd
  • Also known as “Created to Be Me” Camp, Eighters is designed to teach campers about spirituality and sexuality through a wonderful Christian curriculum. Parents will receive detailed information about each day’s topic and theme after they enroll their camper in the session. 
  • Learn more about the "Created to Be Me" camping program curriculum.

June 25-29: Junior/JYF Camp (completed grades 2-4)

Directors: Jenny Gray & Carolyn Allen
  • Campers will engage faith and Bible stories through interactive learning stations and creative worship experiences. Arts and crafts, games, and swimming are also part of the experience. 
    Fee: $305
July 7-13: Chi Rho Camp (completed grades 5-7)

Directors: Maggie Mossler & Lorellye Graham
  • Chi Rho Camp is one of the most unique and memorable experiences of all our summer camps. The week is filled with silly large group games, small groups where we practice talking about our faith, worship experiences and great keynotes. 
    Fee: $405
